It is really, truly sad that people like this have a better chance at getting a book published before someone with real talent. The idiots become superstars to help delude the intelligence of our young minds, while the brilliant minds stay broke and powerless. What is it about today's time where the dumb get rich, and the poor get hypnotized and desensitized by television and the Internet. Shows like The Jersey Shore teaches our youth that if you are a douchebag or a whore one day you may become a celebrity, and then there are shows like 16 and Pregnant that subliminally teaches our children that if you get knocked up at a young age, you could end up on tv. Facebook keeps people immobilized and glues people into there seats staring at the computer when they could be reading or learning a new skill. Why is marijuana illegal but alcohol and Facebook is not; those two things are a whole hell of a lot worse than weed. We as a civilization need to wake up and realize that in light of the Egyptian uprising our Government will do anything in it's power to keep it's power, even if it means corrupting the minds of our own children.
