Fun times!

A dream of an Alien themed Attraction.

I just had the greatest vision for a themed interactive experience; like one of those haunted house things that you would find at a halloween event. I am a huge fan of James Cameron movies, especially one in particular; Aliens. Last night I had a dream that I was searching YouTube for upcoming movies and events, and I came across the Twentieth Centry Fox account where they had one new video that was blowing up. I clicked on the video and sat back to watch it. Here the video turned out to be a preview for an upcoming attraction where fans of the movie could walk through the dark and scary sets that were inspired by the movie, along with actors who played both as military officers whos job was to rescue everyone, and as survivors themselves. As they guided a group of excited tourists through the attraction other acters who were dressed up as xenomorphs would jump out of the dark corners and ceiling to eliminate the soldiers one by one. When it came down to the last terrified solder, one of the survivor actors asked for a gun to help them fight back against the hostile creatures, but when the soldier handed him a weapon, he immediately turned it on everybody forcing the soldier to drop his. He then reveals to the audience that he has been secretly working with Weyland Genetics to ensure that their captured Queen gets her hosts, which of course is the audience. He would then lead every one to the last portion of the ride, (the grand fanalle) thats when the audience was brought into a huge amphitheater like structure that overlooked a massive set which appeared as a hightech genetics lab. When everyone took their seats, the show continued inside. The man who tricked everybody then appeared inside the theater explaning there plans, where he says famous lines such as,"sorry folks, but unfortunately you were all deemed expendable!" Then sections of the floor began to rise which ended up being cryogenic tubes with human hosts inside, and of course they were all impregnated with alien parasites. "Guess what happens next!"
After the chestbusters explode out of the hosts something suddenly goes wrong. The lights go out, and the strobe effects kick in just as a section of the mechanicle floor begins to rise. When the piece of the floor reached the ceiling, a massive cloud of mist filled the lab to conceal what ever hid inside the dark compartment. The strobes flash on the creature inside only for a split second to show the audience its massive razor sharp glass-like teeth. Then there is a moment of silence, and suddenly everyone hears the famouse hiss of the Queen. And thats when the preview ended in my dream. Like, my brain was literally trying to tease me. I think if this attraction was built, fans would love it and I'm pretty sure that they would spend what ever they had to to experience it. I know at least, I would.

Tell me what you think.

I'm coming up on a topic that will be the focus of another one of my 8MinuteDebates, but I want to get your opinion on it as well. The topic is "Has the news become the root of all evil?" What do you think?
