Thought of the day.

Humans are a very violent race; with that thought in mind I believe that is the reason why certain religions with violent themes, (such as Christianity) are so popular. Faiths that which are built on carnage seemed to be the ones that start to rise rapidly. Fore example, there is a book out there that is one of the most violent pieces of literature ever writen; It is called The Holy Bible, and it is one of the best selling works of all time. The book is also one of the items that were carried by men who once hunted and killed thousands of innocent women long ago in the name of God; The Catholic Inquisition. It would seem that religion when fallen in the wrong hands, was an excuse to morally murder innocent people for ones own gain, and for the others, it may have just been a way to frighten people into a single file line. After all, fear is control, and we are all just obedient lams under the one holding the staff; fearing the sting of it if any of us would dare step out of line.
